This is a story about a little girl called Ila who finds a robot in the bushes. He’s an automaton, and she calls him Otto. It’s very cute. Otto’s a thinker. He’s into patterns, Fibonacci, numbers, octopuses, octagons, the lot. As he learns about feelings, Ila discovers that talking through your emotions with someone who really listens can make all the difference.
The illustrations are utterly gorgeous, rich, thoughtful and full of heart. We’d really love you to take a look.
